Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart (HFT) - Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences

Tradition and innovation characterize the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences (HFT). Founded in 1832 as a winter school for builders, today the HFT Stuttgart offers a wide range of accredited bachelor and master study programs.

Campus in the center of the city

A total of eleven bachelor and thirteen master study programs are offered by three departments. The campus of the HFT lies in the heart of the city, between the Stadtgarten, a central park, and the Liederhalle, a culture and conference center, right in the middle of Stuttgart, the economic powerhouse of southwest Germany.

Courses at the HFT are practical with training carried out in small groups. Around 100 professors teach around 2500 students, supported by over 170 assistant teachers.

In addition to specialist knowledge, training also includes soft skills. The capacity for teamwork, interdisciplinary cooperation and foreign languages are important elements of the programs. Practical hands-on projects working together with companies and in offices or a period spent studying abroad at one of our 75 partner universities all over the world are an integral part of the study courses.

The bachelor/master programs of the HFT Stuttgart offer individual training with excellent career opportunities.
