In June 2004, Dr. Wolfgang Schuster first presented his action plan "City for Children" to the public. Since then, the city council, the administration, and the citizens themselves have contributed much to improve the living conditions for children and families in Stuttgart. This report contains an overview of the many projects, initiatives, and measures that have been launched so far with the intention to make Stuttgart the City for Children in Germany by 2010.
