Taxis and women's night taxis run by the SSB

Taxi service

After 8.p.m., passengers in the trams runs by Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG (SSB) can call a taxi to pick them up at their destination tram stop. They must tell the driver as soon as they get on the tram that they would like to order a taxi. They must state their name and the tram stop they would like the taxi to collect them at. To make this request in the tram, please use the intercom (driver call button) in the area of the door. The taxi office arranges for the taxi to be there. These taxis are charged at the usual tariffs for taxi travel.

Women's night taxis

This service was introduced for the safety of women passengers. Women who are out on their own after 8 p.m. can order a women's night taxi. The SSB pays a contribution of 3 Euros for every journey with the women's night taxi. This means the normal taxi fare is reduced by this amount. For this reason: Explicitly order the women's night taxi using your own name.
