There are over 120 libraries in Stuttgart housing 8.4 million books and volumes as well as some 60,000 continuously updated periodicals - as well as countless special collections of media such as pictures, CDs, CD-ROMs, slides, diploma theses, flyers, photos, manuscripts, cards, standards, musical scores, records, language cassettes and audio tapes.
