Shopping opportunities - Restaurants
Stuttgart is also a culinary city with a lively cosmopolitan tradition. Alongside the customary choice of Italian, Greek, Spanish and Asian restaurants, the city is also home to the Bulgarian, Turkish, African, Iberian and American cuisine. Typical of the city are its wine bars and seasonal wine rooms known as "Besenwirtschaften" selling locally produced wine at certain times of year: The ideal setting for a relaxed get-together with friends to enjoy local specialities such as the famous Maultaschen filled pasta parcels, steak with fried onions or delicious "Käsespätzle" cheesy egg noodles - washed down with a glass of regional wine.
