SolarScouts Stuttgart

Would you like to generate your own electricity with a photovoltaic system, have questions and are looking for support? The SolarScouts Stuttgart are there for you: a voluntary team that provides you with personal, independent and free information.

Voluntary, experienced and committed: The SolarScouts help people get started with solar energy.
The SolarScouts 2025 summer party at Waldheim Heslach was not only a social gathering, but also a milestone in the further development of activities.

The SolarScouts Stuttgart were founded in early 2024 on the initiative of BUND, the Solaroffensive Botnang, the Stuttgart Energy Advice Center and the Office for Environmental Protection of the state capital Stuttgart. The Office for Environmental Protection is responsible for coordination and technical support.

The SolarScouts Stuttgart are familiar with the current legal regulations and support you with questions on technology, administration, liability and tax aspects relating to photovoltaics. They are not a substitute for professional energy advice or a specialist company (solar installer) - but: they provide individual information in advance, help with orientation, support with the assessment of offers and thus create a good basis for decision-making.

Committed to solar energy - in all districts of Stuttgart

Around 70 volunteer SolarScouts are currently active in all 23 city districts. Climate change affects us all and motivates the SolarScouts to pass on their knowledge. They support other Stuttgart residents free of charge and in a provider-neutral manner on the way to their own roof or balcony system - with practical experience and a great deal of commitment.
