In cooperation with the Stuttgart Youth Welfare Office, the General Social Service (ASD) and counseling centers (BZ), the family counseling service supports migrant families in crisis situations. The employees entrusted with this task come from an Islamic cultural background.
Fears and reservations about the work of the Youth Welfare Office can be discussed and overcome with these specialist advisors so that suitable measures can be discussed and initiated to find a solution. In addition to the Youth Welfare Office, the colleagues have been working for many years with other municipal agencies as well as social institutions, educational counseling centers, kindergartens and schools, etc.
The family counseling service offers advice and support in the following cases
- Parenting problems / help with parenting
- Child endangerment / child protection
- Domestic violence, e.g. within the framework of the Stuttgart Partnership for Order
- Separation and divorce
- other psychosocial emergencies.
