From mathematics to the humanities - call for the Science Festival 2026

Science for young and old, for experts and amateurs - that's what the 4th Stuttgart Science Festival offers. From June 26 to July 5 next year, local institutions will be presenting a wide range of scientific topics at various locations in Stuttgart.

The Science Festival team of the state capital Stuttgart is calling on all interested parties to submit entries for the Science Festival. These can be newly conceived or already planned - the decisive factor is the connection to science and the city.

The motto "MINT & more" underlines the versatility of Stuttgart as a science location: while the MINT subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, technology) play a central role, the city also wants to showcase the strength of the humanities and creative disciplines. Interested parties can also take inspiration from the theme of the nationwide Science Year 2026 "Medicine of the Future". Stuttgart brings together a colorful mix of disciplines - and the science festival will be just as diverse.

Ines Aufrecht, Head of the S21/Rosenstein and Future Projects Coordination Department responsible for promoting science, explains: "The festival offers an exciting platform to experience the world of research up close. Visitors can take part in interactive experiments, listen to fascinating lectures, talk to scientists and make their own discoveries."

Anyone wishing to submit contributions should contact the City of Stuttgart, Department of Coordination S21/Rosenstein and Future Projects, Science Festival Team, telephone 216-88788, e-mail  wissenschaftstuttgartde
