In the city of Stuttgart, owners of developed or undeveloped properties are obliged to connect their properties to the municipal waste disposal facility. This is based on the waste management statutes of the City of Stuttgart (AfS).
The City of Stuttgart charges waste disposal fees for the use of public waste disposal facilities in order to cover the costs. The waste and recycling fee is based on the number and volume of containers for residual waste and organic waste that the property is equipped with.

If you have any questions regarding the setting and amendment of waste disposal charges, interest on suspension and deferral or the waiver of waste disposal charges, please contact the House Charge Assessment Department of the City Treasury.
Information on payment transactions can only be provided by telephone by stating the booking reference number to the Revenue Department of the City Treasury. Account statements are only sent on the basis of a written request.
