New online portal for women in Stuttgart

Women work part-time more often, take on more care work and are more often affected by poverty in old age. In order to support and strengthen them in a targeted manner, the new online portal "FrauenNetz" (Women's Network) of the state capital Stuttgart is now bundling specific offers and events for women in Stuttgart.

The "FrauenNetz" is aimed at women of all ages in different professional and life situations with a wide range of offers on the topics of work, health, family and personal development.

Women often have specific questions when it comes to employment, childcare or healthcare. The "FrauenNetz" is aimed at women of all ages, in different professional and family life situations. The portal integrates information from Stuttgart authorities, advice centers, networks and associations that are specifically relevant to women. The clearly structured  FrauenNetz (opens in a new tab). website provides easy access to specific Stuttgart offers in areas such as work, health, family and personal development.

The city relies on cooperation for the offers: Stuttgart organizations, associations and networks can enter their women-specific projects and programmes themselves and thus make them visible.

The "FrauenNetz" was developed by the  Department for Equal Opportunities. The department is committed to reducing structural inequalities and works closely with Stuttgart organizations and other city departments. The Equal Opportunities Department has a legal mandate to promote the equal participation of all people - regardless of gender and sexual orientation.
