Mühlhausen castle park

The idyllic Mühlhausen castle park nestles around Palm Castle on the northern slope of the Feuerbach valley. Jonathan Freiherr von Palm had the castle built in 1813 on the remains of the old manor. Over the course of time, the classicist building underwent several alterations.

Fairytale wedding in the park of Mulhouse Castle.

Romantic setting

Around 1933, the city of Stuttgart acquired the listed building. Today it serves as the seat of the Mühlhausen district town hall. The castle park was laid out in its current form in 1954 and impresses with its old tree population. The park is especially beautiful in spring, when the delicate snowdrops and scillas bloom. Many components of the old park, such as gate wings, lion sculptures and coat of arms stones, are kept in the lapidarium of the city of Stuttgart. At the edge of the park is a historic pavilion, in front of which couples can get married in a civil ceremony from June to August.
