As the state capital of Stuttgart, we strive to make our websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with Section 10 (1) of the State Disability Equality Act (L-BGG) and the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) for the implementation of DIRECTIVE (EU) 2016/2102.
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.stuttgart.de, as well as micro-websites based on the same technology.
1. state of compatibility with the requirements
This website is largely compatible with Section 10 (1) L-BGG. Restrictions are the points mentioned under 2.
2. non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
Incompatibility with Section 10 (1) L-BGG
- Due to the changing background photos on the homepage, the contrast to the graphic control element 'logo' or 'menu' is not always ensured.
- In some cases, alternative texts for images are not formulated in a meaningful way or not all layout graphics are identified as such.
- The heading hierarchy is not observed everywhere.
- Links to information or embedded objects from other city systems are not necessarily barrier-free.
- PDF forms and documents for administrative processes are mostly produced in accessible formats. However, flyers, information brochures and official gazette supplements that originate from DTP programs are generally not.
- The chatbot (bottom right) can be accessed with the mouse, but not with the keyboard.
