Making the city come alive together! The youth welfare planning of the city of Stuttgart takes care of the development and expansion of intergenerational meeting places in Stuttgart. This page gives you an overview of the current offer.

There are many intergenerational meeting places for citizens in Stuttgart. For example, the Mütterzentrum Süd is located in the Generationenhaus Heslach.

Role of planning

The youth welfare planning of the Youth Welfare Office and the social planning of the Office for Social Affairs and Participation are jointly responsible for the development and expansion of intergenerational meeting places in Stuttgart.

Youth welfare planning also supports the district and family centers in the further development of their work. It coordinates the working group of the district and family centers and supports professional exchange and networking.

Current development topics

Developing district houses for all generations in Stuttgart and bringing together services for older people and people in the family phase in one house.

Supporting the providers and institutions in their development into a district house or an intergenerational meeting place.
