If you use a quotation in your posts, please provide a correct reference to its origin. Please use links to external websites sparingly. Please refrain from posting pure links without context or without a direct connection to the post you are commenting on. We classify these as spam and hide them.
As ageneral rule: As a public administration, we are obliged to maintain political neutrality. Posts with election appeals or election advertising for political parties or groups as well as unobjective or disparaging comments about political parties or actors will be deleted. The same applies to calls for demonstrations, rallies, vigils, protests or similar actions, as well as links or references to petitions or appeals for donations. Profiles that turn out to be fake profiles will be blocked immediately.
The following are not permitted on our social media channels
- Insults or abusive criticism.
- Degrading and discriminating against people or groups of people, in particular on the basis of their religion, ethnic origin, nationality, physical condition, sexual identity, age or gender.
- Threats or incitement to hatred and violence against institutions, companies, persons or groups of persons.
- Sexism, pornography and obscenities.
- Statements and content that are harmful to minors, racist or anti-Semitic.
- Calls for campaigns, rallies or donations.
- Election and party advertising of all kinds.
- Publication of off-topic comments and contributions.
- Untrue statements of fact and contributions.
- Publishing screenshots of other profiles (including photos from the profiles) or other sources (e.g. websites) or other violations of the personal rights of third parties.
- Publishing audio, photo or video content or other works protected by copyright, unless you are entitled to the copyright or corresponding rights of use or the publication is clearly permitted under copyright law for other reasons.
- Other infringements of third-party rights (e.g. trademark infringements).
- Publication of private data (addresses, e-mail addresses or telephone numbers etc.) and private correspondence.
- Misuse of the comment function as advertising space for websites, services or interest groups (spamming).
- Uncommenting links, links to websites without an imprint and links to sites with content that is relevant under criminal law.
For your own protection, we ask you never to post personal data on our channels. We will delete posts with personal data if necessary.
Moderation
- The comment columns on this page are moderated by the communications team of the City of Stuttgart. We respond to constructive criticism and provide relevant information for factual questions.
- Please understand that we cannot provide all answers immediately. In the case of complex questions, we will contact the experts in the relevant departments in order to provide you with adequate answers. Questions submitted outside of our general office hours or on weekends and holidays will be handled the following business day.
- Violations of the comment rules listed here will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to delete posts at any time or to report them to the operator of the respective social media platform.
- Users who do not comply with these rules and/or repeatedly disrupt the discussion will unfortunately have to be blocked.
- By interacting on our social media channels, you acknowledge these guidelines. Violations of the general laws and legal provisions may, under certain circumstances, lead to exclusion from the respective platform and, in serious cases, to the initiation of legal action.
