We as an employer

Pedagogical concept

In our daycare facilities for children, we work according to our educational concept "Einstein in der Kita". In this way, we implement the Baden-Württemberg orientation plan for education and upbringing.

The "Einstein in der Kita" concept gives educational professionals numerous opportunities to incorporate their own strengths into their work. (Symbol image)

"Einstein in the Kita" forms the basis of our pedagogical work. The focus is on the child's interests and energies. It is less about imparting pure knowledge - the focus is rather on the fantastic search for world experience and understanding. We encourage children to ask questions, make discoveries, and playfully test their stubbornness.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Imagination spans the world."

Albert Einstein, physicist

Each child has his or her own pace of learning and movement, his or her own developmental profile, which we recognize and encourage individually. Through the early development of a team and exploratory spirit, we want to awaken the desire for lifelong learning and create a sense of responsibility for a shared human future.

In our Einstein daycare centers, we offer Stuttgart's children highly interesting spaces for self-experience, research, discovery and group experience. These are educational spaces that are constantly changing: Through the works of the children themselves, through the respective responsible pedagogical professionals, through wind and weather.

The working environment offers opportunities for individual development and for developing one's own strengths.

The professionals and managers of the Einstein-Kitas see themselves as learning and changing adults with their own educational biographies and passions for certain areas of education. They are supported by the provider, especially with regard to self-reflection, team development and specialization. The concept "Einstein in der Kita" enables all employees to bring their personal strengths and focus into the pedagogical work. We place great value on diversity and individual development opportunities. In addition, a fixed number of hours of preparation and follow-up time is specified in each duty roster.

Our concept has received great recognition throughout Germany: in 2005, for example, we won the nationwide competition "Promoting all talents". The Einstein daycare center at Bismarckstraße 6 has already been awarded the Stuttgart Innovation Prize three times. In 2008, the Einstein daycare center at Daimlerstrasse 103 also received the nationwide Prevention Award.

The concept and attitude in the Einstein daycare centers is continued in our school child facilities. The concept of the facilities for school children is based on the educational concept "Einstein in der Arbeit mit Schulkindern" ("Einstein in der Arbeit mit Schulkindern") of the Youth Welfare Office and the concepts "Schülerhäuser in Stuttgart" and "Eine runde Sache - Die Ganztagsgrundschule in Stuttgart" ("A round thing - the all-day elementary school in Stuttgart") adopted by the local council and is described in the conceptual profile of school child facilities.
