Before the painting Paraphrases of the National Colors came to Stuttgart, it hung in the NATO Hall of the Chancellery in Bonn. It was not until 2004, thanks to the mediation of former state parliament director Eberhard Leibing, that it came to the Stuttgart state parliament, where it is one of Hajek's most important but also most beautiful works of art. With this painting, Hajek created his very own interpretation of the national colors.
