Notification of a water supply system or non-drinking water system

You are the operator of a water supply system or non-drinking water system.

You can submit the notification online or in writing:

• You submit the notification to the public health department.
• The health authority accepts the notification.
• There is normally no feedback to the operator.

Operators of a water supply system or non-drinking water system must notify the health authority within the following deadlines:

1. the construction of a water supply system at least four weeks in advance;
2. the initial commissioning or recommissioning of a water supply system at least four weeks in advance and the decommissioning of a water supply system or parts thereof within three days;
3. structural or operational changes to parts of a water supply system that carry drinking water and that may have a significant impact on the quality of the drinking water, at least four weeks in advance;
4. the transfer of ownership or the right of use of a water supply system to another person at least four weeks in advance;
5. the construction or commissioning of a water supply system and the expected duration of operation as early as possible;
6. the construction of a non-drinking water system at least four weeks in advance;
7. the decommissioning of a non-drinking water system within three days.

Advertisements are registered without feedback to the operator.

Any person who intentionally or negligently fails to submit a notification, or fails to submit it correctly, completely or on time, contrary to Section 11 (1), (2) sentences 1, 2 or 3 or (3), Section 12 sentence 1, Section 47 (1), also in conjunction with Section 47 (2), or contrary to Section 53 (1), shall be deemed to have committedan administrative offense within the meaning of Section 73 (1a) no. 24 of the Infection Protection Act.
