Extracurricular use of school and sports facilities

• School and school sports facilities may, insofar as this does not impair school operations or other public interests, be leased to the following organizations, institutions and persons:
  a) Sponsors of non-profit or charitable endeavors, political parties, trade unions and employers' associations.
  b) Interested parties other than those named in letter a) . The user group referred to in subparagraph (a) shall have priority over the user groups referred to in subparagraph (b).
  c) School and school sports facilities shall not be ceded for private purposes.
• There is no entitlement to the surrender of school and school sports facilities, nor can it be derived from a previous surrender. An application is to be rejected if, due to the overall circumstances or due to incidents of previous events, a threat to public safety and order and/or damage to municipal property or considerable material assets of third parties are to be feared.
• Sports halls and gymnasiums can only be provided for non-sports purposes in exceptional cases.

• Completely filled out transfer application
• Complete contact data as well as proof of the organizational form of the non-school user (e.g. excerpt from the register of associations or commercial register)

In principle, applications for the use of school and school sports facilities must be submitted in full and in writing to the City of Stuttgart, School Administration Office, at least two weeks before the date of use.

Applications for the use of gymnasiums and assembly halls, other facilities and shared quarters must be submitted in full and in writing to the City of Stuttgart, School Administration Office, at least four weeks before the date of use.
