The City of Stuttgart charges fees for the use of rooms in accommodation for homeless people. Here you will find important information on the user fees and can arrange a consultation online.
User fees for accommodation
The amount of the user fee for hostels or apartments is generally based on the costs calculated for each square meter of living space provided. The provisions of the Wohnflächen-Verordnung (WoFlV) (opens in a new tab) apply here. The fee differentiates between halls of residence and apartments. An overview of the user fees can be found in section 13 of the statutes on the use of accommodation by the Office for Social Affairs and Participation for Homeless People (opens in a new tab).
The amount of the user fee is specified in the so-called fee notice. It is addressed to the person staying in the accommodation.
Would you like to apply for a reduced user fee? Or would you like advice on the user fees? Then you can make an appointment directly online via the link below.
If you have any questions about the payment of your user fees, please contact the office that grants your benefit directly. As a rule, this is the Social Benefits for Homeless People (opens in a new tab) department, the Jobcenter (opens in a new tab) or the Citizens' Service for Social Benefits (opens in a new tab).
