Dog ownership - Notify change of name and address

If you keep a dog and your name and/or address changes, you must notify the competent authority of your new name or address.

Reasons for a name change can be, for example

  • Marriage
  • divorce
  • Dissolution of a civil partnership

Name and address changes can also be communicated via the Baden-Württemberg service portal.
