Apply for benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act

The following benefits are possible:

  • Basic benefits to cover the necessary requirements for food, accommodation, heating, clothing, healthcare, household consumer goods and personal needs in daily life
  • benefits in the event of illness, pregnancy and childbirth
  • Other benefits, such as for the purchase of furniture
  • Benefits in special cases, such as care assistance

You receive these benefits in the form of a payment card or as benefits in kind and/or in cash.

The entitlement to benefits ends

  • when you leave the country or
  • at the end of the month in which the benefit requirement ceases to apply.
