As of 01.01.2016, certificates for examination eligibility or for examination facilitation / disadvantage compensation for presentation at universities and universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg are no longer issued by public health officers in Baden-Württemberg. The examination is carried out by physicians in private practice or other licensed physicians.
- In accordance with the Judicial Acquisition Regulations, the judicial examination offices must be presented with a certificate from suitable registered or other physicians on the question of examination eligibility or examination facilitation. A list of suitable physicians is available at www.gesundheitsamt-bw.de (opens in a new tab).
- In justified individual cases, the respective examination offices may require a medical certificate from a public health officer for courses of study such as law, medicine, pharmacy, and administration.
- Students from other federal states are examined by an official medical examiner in justified exceptional cases. For them, the respective examination regulations of their colleges/universities apply.
