An account clarification closes gaps in your insurance history that have arisen, for example, due to school, vocational training, military service, studies, stays abroad or raising children after the age of 17.
Only with a fully clarified insurance account can the pension be paid correctly at a later date. In addition, pension statements and pension information are only meaningful if the insurance account is up to date and all gaps have been closed.
In the event of a divorce, you will be asked by the family court, among other things, to submit an account clarification application as part of the pension equalization process.
