The investment report documents the annual business of the city's affiliated companies and municipal enterprises as well as the Kommunalanstalt. It is based on the audited annual financial statements for the past financial year with an outlook for the current year. The report focuses on the public interest in information and the transparency function.
The presentation of the individual companies essentially comprises a presentation of the net assets, financial position and results of operations. In addition, general information is provided, such as the purpose of the companies and the shareholdings.
The report also includes the consolidated financial statements of the city's shareholdings and own operations, which the City of Stuttgart has been preparing on a voluntary basis since 1996.
