Political concerns

Stuttgart is one of the most important economic regions in Europe. Expanding companies must be retained, development opportunities offered and start-ups promoted. The high economic dependency on the automotive industry must be reduced without weakening this sector.

Stuttgart has too little living space. In order to counter rising rents, densification must be implemented. In addition, some new building areas should be designated along infrastructure axes and the edges of towns should be rounded off.

As the cradle of the automobile, the mother city of all television towers and Germany's cultural capital, Stuttgart offers a unique tourist opportunity that needs to be developed further.
