Waste and recyclable material containers

• Residual waste (gray garbage can)
  60-liter, 120-liter, 240-liter and 1,100-liter.
  The 60-liter, 120-liter and 240-liter residual waste containers are emptied every two weeks. With the exception of the 60-liter containers, a weekly collection can be requested in justified special cases. The 1,100-liter residual waste containers are generally emptied weekly.
• Waste paper (green garbage can)
  120-liter, 240-liter and 1,100-liter.
  The 120-liter, 240-liter and 1,100-liter waste paper bins are emptied every three weeks.
• Organic waste (brown garbage can)
  60-liter, 120-liter and 240-liter.
  The 60-liter, 120-liter and 240-liter organic waste garbage cans are emptied weekly.

• 1,100 liter container
  Minimum footprint with lid open
  width/height/depth: 1.36 meters/1.465 meters/1.22 meters
• 240-liter container
  Minimum width/height/depth: 0.585 meters/1.085 meters/0.735 meters
• 120- and 60-liter containers
  Minimum width/height/depth: 0.510 meters/0.935 meters/0.56 meters

Note: The 60-liter container is a 120-liter container with insert.

* In particularly justified special cases, weekly collection can be requested for the 120-liter and 240-liter residual waste containers.

A fee is charged for changes to the container stock.

Changes are free of charge:

• New equipment (first-time allocation of a booking reference for the property)
• Dissolution of container communities
• Replacement of containers not culpably damaged (repair exchange)
• Discontinuation of the disposal obligation (e.g. vacancy)

The waste and recyclables containers are emptied in full service on the same days of the week, the regular collection days. If the containers are placed in accordance with the statutes, the AWS loading personnel will collect them on the collection day and put them back again.

If the containers are not placed in accordance with the statutes, they must be made available by 6:45 a.m. and returned immediately after emptying. In the summer months, an earlier start of work may occur during a prolonged period of hot weather. In this case, the containers must be made available by 5:45 am.
