Violence and addiction - the reality of women's lives in addiction and their motives for consumption

Violence and addiction are closely linked - especially in the lives of women*. Many women* who consume addictive substances have experienced violence. Conversely, a life with experiences of addiction often leads to increased vulnerability to further violence against women*. In this event, two employees of Lagaya e.V. will shed light on the causes and effects of this interplay. In addition, the work of the women's addiction counseling center and assisted living will be presented. Following the presentation, there will be space for discussion, questions and a joint exchange of ideas. The event is aimed at interested parties, those affected and professionals.
