Family Education

The Stuttgart Youth Welfare Office's family education program strengthens families living in the city by offering lectures and seminars on specific topics. The civic engagement for families offers volunteering opportunities especially for families.

Informed parents can better help their children to grow up to be self-confident, critical and courageous people.

In addition to the courses offered in the seminar room at Marienplatz 3, Family Education also offers parenting events or courses directly in daycare centers, schools, district centers or clubs in the various districts of the city. At the events, parents receive specific suggestions and information on issues relating to everyday parenting and family life and have time to exchange experiences.

The family education offers are free of charge and, in addition to general information, try to take into account the individual life situation and cultural background of the participating parents.
