Geissstrasse Foundation

On Geißplatz in Stuttgart's old town, the Hans im Glück fountain was inaugurated in May 1909. The mayor at the time, Heinrich von Gauss, expressed the wish that the fountain be "a sign of good luck". Of course, this also applies to all couples who choose this wishing place for their wedding ceremony.

A sign of good luck: How about a picture in front of the Hans-in-Glück fountain after the wedding ceremony?

Good luck

The square is dominated by the building Geißstraße 7 with its arcades, artistically designed building entrances, facade paintings and reliefs. The Geißstraße Foundation, which is based here, is involved in (inter)cultural, social and urban historical activities. People from all over the world live under its roof. Wedding ceremonies are held on the second floor. After the wedding ceremony, the Hans im Glück fountain provides a photo backdrop: a reminder of a truly happy day.
