German course at the Stuttgart Adult Education Center

Anyone who wants or needs to learn German in Stuttgart should be able to take part in a suitable course as quickly as possible. To ensure this succeeds, representatives from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), the Office for Social Affairs and Participation, the Foreigners' Registration Office, the Federal Employment Agency, the job centers, the Welcome Center, the migration services and the language course providers meet regularly. Under the leadership of the Integration Policy Department, the representatives jointly coordinate the upcoming demand for German courses and plan tailor-made offers wherever possible.

To ensure that parents of young children also have the opportunity to learn German in Stuttgart, there is a childcare service in Stuttgart to accompany the courses. This service is organized by the language course providers in close cooperation with the Integration Policy Department and the Youth Welfare Office. The Stuttgart Education Partnership department also provides information and offers language support.
