Food in municipal daycare centers

Information on reductions in the meal fee can be found under  Fees for Attendance at Municipal Daycare Centers.

Participation in the meal service is obligatory in full-day care for children, with the exception of the extended opening hours offer. No meals are provided in half-day and regular daycare centers. To find out whether a daycare facility for children meets the requirements for participation in meal provision, please contact the responsible facility management.

The meals offered and prepared are based on the recommendations of the German Nutrition Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ernährung).
