You can receive financial support for your advanced vocational training that prepares you for a public-law advanced training qualification as a master craftsman, technician, business administrator or a comparable qualification.
The Upgrading Training Assistance Act (Aufstiegsfortbildungsförderungsgesetz) is the age-independent funding offer for all those who want to seize their opportunities with an upgrading training course.
Funding is available for advanced training
- in all occupational areas, including health and nursing professions and educator training in Baden-Württemberg, as well as
- for all time models (full-time, part-time, media-based or distance learning).
Exceptions are possible if the legal requirements are not met.
In the case of part-time continuing education, funding for course and examination fees can be applied for. In the case of full-time training, additional funding for living expenses can be applied for. This support is based on your family, income and financial circumstances.
