Residents parking permit - exemption for tradesmen and freelancers

• You do not have a company-owned or rented parking facility (parking space, garage)
• You have a self-employed company, business or trade located in a residents' parking area or
• you are a self-employed freelancer and your company is located in a residents' parking area or
• itis a public institution

Initial application:

• Rental agreement for the commercially used premises. If you are the owner of the premises yourself, other suitable proof (e.g. purchase contract, property tax notice, etc.).
• Registration certificate Part I (vehicle registration document) of any vehicle used in the course of your business.
• If you are a trader: a copy of the current certificate of business registration.
• If you are a freelancer: suitable evidence of non-dependent freelance activity (for example, excerpt from the partnership register, excerpt from the partnership agreement, evidence from the tax office of recognition of freelance activity)For public institutions: suitable evidence of status as a public institution.

Renewal:

• You will need your previous ID card number.

The online application is usually processed after three working days at the latest. However, due to the postal dispatch, there may be waiting times of up to two weeks. If you do not have a valid exemption (any longer) in the meantime, you can display the confirmation of the dispatch of your exemption, which you will receive by e-mail, visibly in the vehicle as proof for traffic monitoring.
