You must report the loss or theft of your driver's license as soon as possible. You will need a replacement driver's license.
Prerequisites
- You have a valid driver's license.
- You have not been banned from driving by a fine authority.
- Your main residence is in Stuttgart.
Procedure
- If you have all the required documents, you must hand in the application in person at the driver's license office or a citizens' office.
- You can either pick up the replacement driver's license at the driver's license office or have it mailed to you.
- Note: On the back of the Application for a Replacement Driver's PDF-File 715,73 kB License form, you must provide information about the date of loss, place of loss, circumstances of loss, etc.
