Identity documents (identity card, passport) of Stuttgart citizens are forwarded to the Citizen office Mitte. The relevant persons will receive a message from the Citizen office Mitte.
Driving licenses and vehicle registration certificates belonging to Stuttgart citizens remain with the lost and found office. The relevant persons will receive a message from the lost and found office.
Wallets with documents belonging to people who do not live in Stuttgart are forwarded to the lost and found office of the municipality in which the documents were issued. They will be handed over to the relevant persons there.
Wallets with foreign documents belonging to foreigners living in Stuttgart remain with the lost and found office. The relevant persons will receive a message from the lost and found office.
Individual foreign documents are forwarded to the foreigners authority. The relevant persons will receive a message from the Foreigners' Registration Office.
Purses containing documents belonging to foreign citizens who do not live in Germany will be forwarded to the relevant consulate or embassy. They will be handed over to the relevant persons there.
