Pet care: dispose of animal carcasses

Small animals
Individual carcasses of small animals may

  • buried on their own property - but not in water protection areas and not in the immediate vicinity of public paths and squares - under a layer of earth at least 50 cm thick,
  • be buried in places approved for this purpose (animal cemeteries),
  • are handed over to animal crematoria for cremation or
  • handed in at small animal carcass collection points.

There is a  small animal carcass collection point in Wartbergstraße.

There are animal cemeteries in Stuttgart-Möhringen (Fasanenhof) and in Stuttgart-Heumaden.

Large animals

For the collection and disposal of large animals, please contact the Zweckverband Tierische Nebenprodukte Neckar-Franken.
