Possession of alarm, irritant and signal weapons with the PTB mark does not require a permit from the age of 18; however, they may only be carried or carried in public if a permit in the form of a small firearms certificate has been issued by the responsible firearms authority.
In addition to the Small Arms Permit, an identity card or passport must also be carried.
Violation of this regulation constitutes a criminal offense punishable by up to three years imprisonment or a fine.
