Both consumer complaints and reports of food-borne personal illnesses are treated with absolute priority in order to exclude and, if necessary, eliminate any possible hazards to consumers.
If you have any questions or would like to provide information, you can obtain information for the area of the state capital Stuttgart from the Office for Public Order, Food Monitoring, Consumer Protection and Veterinary Affairs.
In cases of suspicion, you can also report foodstuffs and consumer articles
directly to the Office for Public Order, Food Monitoring, Consumer Protection and Veterinary Affairs. The products will be forwarded from there to the responsible laboratory for examination.
Note: This will not incur any costs for you!
If possible, please hand in the entire suspect food or commodity together with the receipt. The suspect food should be cooled as soon as possible and kept in a cool place until it is handed in (e.g. in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator).
