The Veterinary Office of the City of Stuttgart offers online training courses on Trichinella sampling in cooperation with the State Hunting Association of Baden-Württemberg. The training courses are conducted by Dr. Jana Lohmann, Head of Department. Each training course is followed by a knowledge test. Upon successful completion of this examination, participants will receive a certificate of attendance from the Office for Public Order Food Monitoring, Consumer Protection and Veterinary Affairs of the City of Stuttgart, which is required in addition to a valid hunting license for official authorization to take samples.
The training courses take place on the following dates:
- Thursday, 12.02.2026, 7:00 p.m. - approx. 9:00 p.m.
- Thursday, 07.05.2026, 19:00 h - approx. 21:00 h
- Thursday, 09.07.2026, 19:00 h - approx. 21:00 h
- Thursday, 08.10.2026, 19:00 h - approx. 21:00 h
