Request parking lot barrier or no-stopping zone for relocation

After receiving your application, the road traffic authority will check whether the loading zone you have applied for can be set up.

Please note that you must set up the no-stopping signs at least 3 full days before the moving date. This must include a written record of the license plates of all vehicles properly parked there at that time.

If, on the day of the move, vehicles are parked in the no-stopping zone despite the signs being erected and are obstructing the move, you can have the vehicles towed away. The vehicle owners must bear the towing costs.

Note: If the 72-hour deadline is not met, necessary towing measures will be carried out at the expense of the permit holder according to established case law!

Non-profit associations and organizations based in Stuttgart can also be financially supported by the state capital Stuttgart in the implementation of events in accordance with the statutes for the promotion of events of non-profit associations.

The administrative fees and special use fees incurred will not be charged for the group of people receiving support, provided that budget funds of the state capital Stuttgart are available for this purpose.

Proof of non-profit status must be provided when the application is submitted.

The fee for setting up no-stopping signs for (residential) removals is calculated according to the approval period and the scope of the approval. As a rule, it amounts to between 30 - 100 euros.
