Private fireworks - apply for exemption from the ban on burning

• Minimum age: 18 years
• if the fireworks are not to be set off on one's own property, the written consent of the property owner
• a justified reason to burn off fireworks, these can be for example:
  • a golden wedding anniversary
  • a round birthday or
  • any other anniversary

You must apply for the exemption in writing. Please use the application form provided for this purpose.

Only after you have received an exemption permit, you can purchase fireworks of category F2. You can obtain these, for example, in a fireworks company or in an online store on the Internet.

The exemption permit may be associated with conditions. Conditions can be, for example:

• Presence of the fire department or volunteer fire department during the burning of the fireworks or
• Proof of liability insurance

• copy of identity card as proof of age and place of residence
• fully completed application form

You should submit the request at least four weeks before the desired date.
