Special parking permits for tradesmen and social services

The special parking permit for the entire Stuttgart city area can be applied for by all Stuttgart and non-Suttgart businesses that meet the following requirements:

• The business must be a member of a Chamber of Crafts or a Chamber of Industry and Commerce or a social service for the care of people in need (including people in organized palliative care as well as midwives and delivery nurses).
• You will only receive the pass if it is absolutely necessary for you to park in the immediate vicinity of your place of work in order to be able to perform your service. This is the case, for example, if you are transporting bulky, heavy materials or built-in tools.
• The vehicle must be registered to the business or sole proprietor.

Note: If you are a private individual caring for dependents, you will not receive a special parking permit.

• In the case ofcommercial enterprises, a copy of the craft card or trade card or a copy of the current certificate of trade registration.
• In the case of social services, a copy of the award notice from the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Institutionskennzeichen (ARGE IK).
  

The online application is usually processed after three working days at the latest. However, due to the postal dispatch, waiting times of up to two weeks may occur. It is also possible to pick up the special parking permit in person - by prior appointment.

Special parking permit for tradesmen for 3 months

Cost: 100 Euro

Special parking permit for tradesmen for 6 months

Cost: 140 Euro

Special parking permit for social services for 1 year

Cost: 120 Euro

Special parking permit for social services for 1 week

Cost: 20 Euro

Special parking permit for social services for 3 months

Cost: 50 Euro

Special parking permit for social services for 6 months

Cost: 70 Euro

Trailers park above the towing vehicle and therefore do not receive their own special parking permit.

Exemption permits for assembly vehicles (with permanently installed tools) for driving or parking in pedestrian zones can be issued on a case-by-case basis as before. Please submit applications to the  City Districts Construction Sites Team.
