A general closing time is set for restaurants and public entertainment venues. During this time, restaurants must cease operations.
Legal closing time in Baden-Württemberg:
- Monday to Friday: 3 to 6 a.m.
- Saturday and Sunday 5 to 6 a.m.
Note: On the night of January 1, the closing time is lifted. On the night of Shrove Tuesday and May 1, it begins at 5 a.m.. This does not apply to amusement arcades.
Under certain conditions, the closing time can be extended once or regularly.
Note: Conditions may be imposed at any time when the curfew is shortened or lifted.
Under certain conditions, the authorities may also generally extend, shorten or cancel the closing time by means of a legal ordinance. These legal ordinances are issued by the municipalities, the district offices, the regional councils or the Ministry of the Interior.
