Foundation gifts and regulatory aids

Foundation funds can generally be granted for the following areas:

• To overcome an emergency situation that triggers a need. These are, for example, illness, disability, unemployment, separation/divorce, addition to the family, single parenthood, indebtedness or over-indebtedness, financial crises, education or training.
• to compensate for social hardship.
• to participate in social and cultural life.
• to provide regulatory assistance in the context of debt settlement.

Necessity and principles of granting: The concept of need distinguishes between personal and economic need. A personal need for assistance can be due to a physical, mental or psychological condition, without the need for economic support.

3. decision of the  Voluntary Services Department on the application by means of a written decision.
