If you want to set up a work site or a construction site on a public traffic area, you must apply for a special permit. Depending on the situation, this may require an order under traffic law, a special permit or a special use permit under road law.
The permit is issued by the Public Order Office with the involvement of the police, the Civil Engineering Office and, if necessary, other offices.
Permits are required for:
- Construction sites in general (demolition work, structural and civil engineering work, pipeline work, etc.)
- Material storage (storage of construction materials outside the construction area)
- Scaffolding (scaffolding located on public traffic areas)
- Skips (Open collection containers for storing and transporting construction debris or green waste)
- Containers (Closed containers for storage and transport of goods, including sales and office containers)
- Lifting platforms
- Cranes (truck cranes, tower cranes, trucks with loading crane)
- Removals (residential and corporate)
