Stuttgart Bonuscard + culture

Only persons whose main residence is registered in Stuttgart and who receive at least one of the following benefits are eligible to receive the Bonuscard + Culture:

• Citizen's allowance, basic income support for jobseekers in accordance with the German Social Code, Book II (SGB II )
• Basic income support, assistance with living expenses and benefits in fully inpatient care facilities in accordance with the German Social Code, Twelfth Book (SGB XII)
• Benefits in accordance with the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act (AsylbLG)
• Housing benefit in accordance with the Housing Benefit Act (WoGG)
• Child supplement according to the BKGG (not child benefit)
• Child and youth welfare according to the Social Security Code, Book Eight (SGB VIII)

If you receive one of the above-mentioned benefits, you can apply for the Bonuscard + Culture. This can be done directly via the online application, by post, by e-mail or in person during office hours at the Voluntary Benefits Office.
You can either complete the online application or use the form available for download on this page.

• A fully completed application for the Bonuscard + Culture, signed in duplicate.
• Proof of receipt of social benefits must be provided in the form of a copy of the relevant, current and complete benefit notification.

The Bonuscard + Culture can only be issued for specific months and not for previous years. As a rule, the validity of the Bonuscard + Culture always corresponds to the start date of the social benefit.

If your entitlement to the social benefit ceases during the course of the year, you are obliged to return the Bonuscard + Culture to the Office for Social Affairs and Participation.

End of the year: Application for Bonuscard + Culture for the following year: If the application is completed carefully and in full and sent to the Office for Social Affairs and Participation Voluntary Benefits by mid-November each year together with the relevant, current and complete benefit notification and the applicant is a beneficiary, the applicant will be assured that the Bonuscard + Culture for the following year will be sent by post in time for the turn of the year.

Application during the year: If the application is submitted to the Voluntary Benefits Office during opening hours , the Bonuscard + Culture will be issued immediately if possible. (Due to the high number of visitors, this cannot be guaranteed in the period from November to February).

If the application is submitted by post, the Bonuscard + Culture is usually issued within one to two weeks.

If you have lost your Bonuscard + Kultur, you must submit a new application and present your current and complete benefit statements.
