The municipal council office is the central point of contact in the town hall for the members of the municipal council, the parliamentary group offices and for citizens. It is responsible for planning and preparing the agendas of the municipal council, the administrative committee and the council of elders and provides the councillors with the necessary meeting documents for their meetings. The department prepares and distributes the minutes of the municipal council meetings, its decision-making committees and the Council of Elders.
In addition, the municipal council's office is responsible for accounting the compensation for the voluntary work of the members of the municipal council, the district advisory councils and the experts as well as the budget funds for the political groups, groupings and individual city councillors.

The municipal council office is divided into the following teams

The "Municipal Council Secretariat" is assigned to Department 10-2,  Municipal Council and Municipal Districts.
