Themajority of the City of Stuttgart's real estate portfolio is managedcentrally by the  Real Estate Office. This includes the buildings of the Cultural Office, the Fire Department, the Main and Personnel Office, the Office for Public Order and the Youth and Social Office. The janitors for these properties, the awarding and administration of cleaning contracts and the execution of cosmetic repairs are also centralized in the Real Estate Management of the Real Estate Office. Excluded from centralization are the buildings of the School Administration Office, the Office for Sports and Exercise, as well as the operating buildings of the Civil Engineering Office, the Garden, Cemetery and Forestry Office, and the land and buildings that are part of the operating assets of the Eigenbetriebe.

Since 03.11.2014, our customer center has been available to you so that we can respond to your fault reports, questions and concerns more quickly and straightforwardly in the future.

The Real Estate Management department is divided into the following 3 functional areas:

1.  Area Management with the teams Strategic Tasks, Project and Administrative Management
   
2.  Property management with the teams 1 (commercial properties, administrative buildings, fire stations and bunkers), team 2 (daycare centers, cultural buildings, housing area and small housing estates) and the team for operating cost accounting
3.  Services with the Customer Center and Mobile Service teams.
