The Sports Venues department has the following main areas of work, among others: Sports facility and event management of own sports facilities (SCHARRena Stuttgart, Stadion Festwiese, GAZi-Stadion on the Waldau, Eiswelt Stuttgart, district sports facilities Mercedesstraße/Waldau and SSB-Platz/Schlotwiese), building maintenance, principles of technical operations and event management, structural and operational further development of municipal sports facilities, technical service.
