The civil status registers are only kept by the registry office within the legally prescribed continuation period of
- 80 years for marriage registers / civil partnership registers
- 110 years for birth registers
- 30 years for death registers
are kept up to date. The registry office issues certificates and information from these registers service.stuttgart.de/.
